In this oral history, Remus speaks at length about language and identity, the mentorship she provides within her communities, her romantic and family relationships, racism, and colorism. She also touches upon her spirituality, end-of-life care work, her encounters with healthcare, and her experiences stripping in clubs located in the Twin Cities during the
