Re: Difficulties Faced by Transgender/Transsexual Prisoners at the California Medical Facility-Vacaville
Letter from Judy Greenspan on the poor conditions for incarcerated transgender people at the California Medical Facility. Greenspan notes that trans people are not given mental health resources, are housed on the HIV unit even if they are not HIV positive, are being denied hormone replacement therapy, and have been targeted for discriminatory treatment by guards.
